We are excited to announce that next week, from August 19th to 24th, we will be celebrating Book Week at Encore Your Dance Family! In line with Queensland schools, we are dedicating this week to the joy of reading and storytelling.
Celebrate Book Week with Us!
To make this week extra special, we invite all our students to come to their dance classes dressed as their favourite book characters. This is a fantastic opportunity for our young dancers to share their beloved stories and characters with their classmates and teachers.
Why Book Week?
Book Week is a wonderful time to encourage a love for reading among our students. It allows them to explore new worlds, ideas, and perspectives through the magic of books. By integrating this celebration into our dance classes, we hope to inspire creativity and imagination both on and off the dance floor.
What to Expect
Dress Up:
Students can wear costumes inspired by their favourite book characters to any and all dance classes throughout the week.
Story Sharing:
We encourage students to share a brief description or story about their chosen characters with the class. This is a great way for everyone to discover new books and stories.
Fun and Creativity:
Above all, we want this week to be fun and engaging for our students. We can’t wait to see the creativity and enthusiasm they bring to their costumes and stories.
