Tayla started dancing when she was 6 years old on the Sunshine Coast. Growing up she performed at many fundraisers and community shows including performing with the Russian Imperial Ballet when they toured to the Sunshine Coast. Tayla got given the opportunity to fly to America to compete at various competitions such as Starpower National Finals where she shined as a soloist and got picked to perform in the opening show act at Rainbow Nationals. Selected to be apart of Elite training teams and Performance Teams she quickly gained knowledge in all areas of dance such as Jazz, Tap, Classical Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pointe, Heels, Acrobatics, Silks, Singing and Partnering and achieved high levels of competence in all exams. In 2015 she was chosen to be apart of a Hip Hop crew named ‘Crewsade’ that performed at competitions including Battlegrounds in Sydney where she competed at finals. Tayla auditioned at Dance Force to be apart of there 2 year Fulltime course where she was accepted, so at the age of 16 she moved out of home to the Goldcoast to complete her Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance). There she worked with Australia’s top teachers and choreographers and gained extensive knowledge to later perform in the Dance Force Australian Tour in 2017. Tayla has choreographed for many concerts, performances and gigs over the past 2 years and has a true passion for creativity. She loved assisting her teachers at a young age in classes and workshops where her passion and love started for teaching. She loves watching the improvement of a dancer and falls in love with the process.
